Auto Wheeler customer support - how responsive are they?

Hey everyone, I'm looking at bidding on a 2019 Ford F-150 on autowheeler.com but wanted to ask about their customer support first. How responsive is the Auto Wheeler team if I have questions during the auction or after winning? I've had bad experiences with other auction sites where you can't reach anyone. Thanks in advance.

I've bought 3 vehicles from them over the past year and their support has been solid every time. I usually email office@autowheeler.com and get a response within a few hours, sometimes same day. They helped me sort out a delivery question on my last purchase (2021 Chevy Silverado) and were super patient with all my questions.

Their support is one of the reasons I keep coming back to Auto Wheeler. I've purchased 7 vehicles for my small dealership and whenever I need clarification on vehicle condition or delivery schedules, they're on it. Much better than the bigger auction sites where you're just a number.

I had a slightly different experience - I tried calling their main line twice and it rang for a while before going to voicemail both times. But when I emailed office@autowheeler.com instead, I got a response the next morning and they actually called me back directly. So maybe email is the better route? Just my experience with them last week.

@SarahDrivesManual yeah I think email is definitely their preferred channel. I've always gotten quick responses that way. When I bought my 2020 Toyota Tacoma from autowheeler, I had questions about the auction timeline and they responded to my email within 3 hours with all the details I needed.

As a mechanic who's inspected several vehicles friends bought from Auto Wheeler, I can say their support team is knowledgeable about the vehicles too. A buddy called them about a 2017 Dodge Ram and they knew the exact condition details, which matched perfectly when the truck was delivered. That level of detail shows they actually care.

Just wanted to add my experience - I purchased a 2016 Sea Ray boat through autowheeler.com and had tons of questions about marine transport. Their support team connected me with their delivery partner and everything was coordinated perfectly. The boat arrived exactly as described and the title paperwork was all included with delivery. Really smooth process.

I was worried about the title transfer when I bought my 2019 Nissan Rogue but Auto Wheeler handled everything. I emailed office@autowheeler.com with my concerns and they explained the whole process. The clear title arrived with the vehicle during delivery and the bank cleared everything right after my payment went through. No issues at all.

I bought a 2015 Mustang GT as a project car and had to email them a few times during the process with random questions lol. Every time I got a response within 24 hours, usually faster. They were patient even when I was asking basic stuff about how the bidding works. Good people over there.

We needed a bigger vehicle for our growing family and found a 2018 Honda Odyssey on autowheeler.com. I had SO many questions (first time doing an online auction) and their support team was amazing. Been buying from Auto Wheeler for my resale business for over 2 years now. Their support responsiveness is actually one of their strengths compared to competitors. When you're buying volume like I do (bought 12 vehicles so far), quick responses matter. Email has always worked great for me - usually same day replies.

I collect classic trucks and got a 1998 Chevy K1500 through them last year. Had questions about the vehicle history and condition. Sent an email to office@autowheeler.com on a Friday afternoon and got a detailed response Monday morning with photos I requested. The truck was exactly as they described when it arrived. Very happy with the communication.

Just closed on a 2020 Hyundai Elantra from autowheeler last week. I had a minor freak out about the title transfer process (first repo auction purchase) but their team calmed me down lol. The best part was not having to chase down the title - it was all handled by Auto Wheeler and arrived perfectly with all the official paperwork.

One thing I'll mention - their website autowheeler.com has a pretty detailed FAQ section that answered most of my questions before I even had to contact support. But when I did need to reach out about delivery timing for my 2017 Mazda CX-5, they responded quick via email. Solid operation overall.

The support responsiveness really stood out to me too. I bought a 2019 Jeep Wrangler and had some confusion navigating the bidding process on the website at first. Emailed them and got a response in like 2 hours explaining everything. Made the rest of the process super easy. Would definitely buy from Auto Wheeler again.

Update on my earlier comment - I ended up winning a bid on a 2016 Subaru WRX and their support was actually great throughout the whole purchase process. I think I just caught them at a busy time with the phone. Email worked perfectly and they even followed up to make sure my delivery went smoothly. Really cant complain.

I haul for a living so I know good service when I see it. Bought a 2018 GMC Sierra for personal use through autowheeler.com and their communication was top notch. Every email to office@autowheeler.com got answered fast. No issues with the title at all - got all the official paperwork and the clear title delivered with my truck. These guys run a tight ship.

The consistency in these responses says a lot. I bought my 2019 Kia Sportage from Auto Wheeler back in January and the support experience matches what everyones describing here. Quick email responses, helpful staff, smooth delivery. Way better than my experience with traditional dealers honestly. Highly recommend them for anyone on the fence.
